Sound of Motion: Planetside

degenatron The whole album has a great mix of trance and up tempo with each song flowing into the next almost seamlessly. It strikes a very nice balance between chilled relaxation and head bopping groove. Each song sets a theme and then masterfully explores variances and permutations on that theme. Favorite track: Step by Step.

about

Spanning more than ten years of inspired learning and musical wonderment, and drawing from icons the likes of Above & Beyond and Carbon Based Lifeforms to name so few, ‘Sound of Motion: Planetside’ begins a journey of electronic trance and progressive sounds; an album not only free-standing, but mere beginnings of a musical series crafted by Australian producer Kinesthetics.
‘Sound of Motion: Planetside’ tells a tale of the final frontier: of space, the cosmos, and the undying race to launch upward and outward to solve the universe’s secrets. A semi-mixed set of twelve tracks invokes the feel of orbital drift, an uneasy isolation alone among a sea of stars, the energy to forge machinery powerful enough to reach the deep unknown, and to then fall back to Earth once complete.
